Where there is a common interest, we believe it is good practice to work with local organisations and to support the local communities in which we are based.
We provide apprenticeships through TTE Technical Training Group at Billingham and TTE Training Limited at Ince in engineering disciplines such as Instrument & Electrical and Mechanical as well as Process Operator placements. We recruit through the training organisations, so any applications should be sent to them for consideration.
We have recently established closer links to the universities that are on our doorstep, namely Manchester University and Teesside University. Together, with Teesside University we are working on a bespoke training course covering Management and Leadership. These partnerships help us to provide the best possible training to our employees to make sure we keep increasing relevant skills within the company. They are also a key link to students who are looking for placements as part of a year in industry.
Within the Commercial department, we work closely with Harper Adams University to provide placements within our Marketing and Farm Advice team.
In order to develop the talent we need, we support placements via local colleges as part of the Process Operations qualification. This not only gives students useful experience, but also helps us attract talent.
